Chris moved to Bali with his wife and two kids. Ocean view, online income from the recruitment company he had owned for more than five years.
On paper it was perfect, but in his own words it felt like a golden cage. He had to keep a profile picture in a suit to hide his tattoos and present himself differently than who he really is.
In July 2025 he joined Business Belts with no e-commerce experience.
The start was rough. He lost money in his first month in Germany, then moved to Sweden where things slowly got better. Along the way he had almost every setback you can imagine: banned ad accounts, domains going down, payment issues. He kept going, and after Blue Belt he upgraded to Red Belt.
That’s when it took off. In May he hit his first €100.000 month, even after PayPal shut down and locked his money for six months.
In June he was bought out of his recruitment business to go all in on e-commerce. And in July, while both stores got hit with domain bans and he lost 12 ad accounts, he still closed the month at €269.000 in revenue and €55.000 net profit.
Today he runs two stores with a team of 8. In his own words: doing this alone would have taken him five years.
